Along with the Canadian Orthodontics Association, we recommend that a child receive their first orthodontic screening between the ages of 6 – 8. Early examination of children allows us to recognize potential problems and correct them before they become more serious.
Between the ages of 11 – 17 is the ideal time to correct many orthodontic problems. During this time, the permanent teeth have finished coming into the mouth, while the jaws are continuing to grow. Making it the best time to get the smile that makes you happy.
